1 week until 24 Hours

Its just one week to go until the Le Mans 24 hours race and a week of camping. It will be the last time that we meet until I arrive at Ali’s house later this year. A last chance to go through some lists, make final preparations and ensure that we are ready. It feels like we are already over prepared but its worth just having a last look.

I have got a service kit for Ali’s L200 to take with me but at this stage its not certain that we will be two L200s or he will take his Prado which as Air Con and a nicer quality of life for 6 weeks.

I was not planning to go to Le Mans this year but someone dropped out and there was a spare ticket so off we go. The amount of factory teams and the new cars are spectacularly good and having already watched the races at Imola and Spa-Francorchamps I am already exited for this year at Le Mans.

There is a bit of ground rush going on as I have to go to a wedding from Thursday until Sunday, the crack in the windscreen of the L200 has now spread right across the screen and so has to be replaced on Monday. So I will be packing the truck on Monday late afternoon and although its been done a hundred times before it still feels a bit cramped timewise.
