Seems that the travel gods have got one more laugh for me. A bumpy crossing to end my 4937 mile adventure. And a little bit "lighter" than when I left 🐪 🏝️

The savage Sahara, kids throwing rocks at the truck, landslides and riverbed diversions. Today.... France, protests, fuel queues, and a storm just to spice up the epilogue. 🌊⛴️⛽ Welcome to war torn Europe from er..... third world N Africa. 🤔

A day off before we head up the motorway to Tan Med. Time to clean up, repack and enjoy a cheeky bottle of wine liberated locally..

Aaaaand that just about wraps it up 🌴🏁. 3000km from Nador to Cap Draa. The trans Morocco Trail completed. Sections A-Z. Time to drink a coffee and plan how to get home ☕🏡

Another 135km done today across the sand from Tagounite to Forum Zuid. Deep sand, sand storm winds and it felt like a scene from star wars when we found Titanic hôtel at the (Not Very) Lake Irik

Arrived at a small campsite right on the edge of the Sahara. Blowing a gale, huge sandstorm following the torrential rain of the last two days. Unsurprisingly we are the only people here and our hosts have offered to cook for us tonight and give us sanctuary from the storm

High mountain pass with Snow in the distance to start the day. Finished with a 3km drive along the river bed in the Canyon to get back onto the trail. Tonight camping at an old gun battery high above the town.

Another 350km 12 hour day on the trails and another 2 sections of the TMT in the bag. Started with sand and some sketchy river crossings and ended with a 2500m climb over the top to the Gorge du Dades. Absolutely empty landscape, amazing.

A really tough day on the trails. Only 150km but rain, soft sand and very little trail to follow. Arrived at the hotel campsite in a sand storm and now absolutely lashing it down .. Just what the desert wanted
